The Holocaust

   
      Hi,      
                    I plan on writing an essay on what the Holocaust is; not what it did, how it effected the world that we live in today, or the cause of why this tragic part of history happened. But what the Holocaust is, and  this is what i know so far
             
          The Holocaust was:
                    A mass genocide.
                    A persecution of specific ethnic groups.
                   The result of one man's idea of a "perfect society".
                   A slaughtering that resulted in the death of six million , and two million children.
                   A tragic event that occured during world war two.
                   The working of Adolf Hitlter and his Nazi Regime.
                        
  There is so much more that i still need to learn, if you know something that i need to know to make my essay more accurate please tell me.

The changing world

Hi,

In this blog i plan to explain what happened between the 1940's and the 1950's. during this decade the world changed in momentous ways. I plan to discuss WWII, the Holocaust, and the explosion of technology that happened during the 1950's, as well as many other events that occurred in this decade.

I chose to write about this topic because I plan on getting a degree in secondary education with an emphasis on united states history. The WWII era and the 1950's is one of my favorite time periods in all of history. I hope that everyone that reads this blog will find it informational as well as interesting. Please let me know if I have let out any important facts that you think needs to be known.
